Hip Flexor Stretch:

  • While maintaining a tall stance, step forward 

  • Lower into a lunge (play around with different positions of the trail leg to find your best stretch)

  • Inhale deep while lowering

  • Raise both arms into the sky and arch backwards (Heart towards the sky)

  • Exhale slowly as you drive your hips forward

  • Squeeze you trail leg's glute to enhance your hip flexor stretch

  • The stretch is over when your exhale is done

  • I tend to roll my arms backwards to sneak in extra shoulder mobility before I stand up

  • Drive forward off your lead leg to stand tall

  • Repeat with other side

  • Continue for desired reps
